Role Overview
As an E-commerce Catalog Executive at Sevora, you will manage the end-to-end product catalog on our platform. This includes brand listing and authorization, category and attributes management, content management, pricing, inventory alignment, and compliance. You will ensure a seamless and premium shopping experience while supporting revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Listing & Authorization
- Handle onboarding of new brands, ensuring all brand approvals and authorizations are complete.
- Maintain updated brand documentation and compliance with Sevora’s standards.
- Coordinate with operations, sourcing, and legal teams for brand-related approvals.
Category & Attributes Management
- Create, structure, and maintain product categories and subcategories on the platform.
- Define and manage product attributes (size, color, material, style, etc.) to ensure accurate filtering and discoverability.
- Regularly audit categories and attributes for consistency and correctness.
Catalog & Content Management
- Create, upload, and maintain product listings (titles, descriptions, attributes, size guides, tags).
- Ensure SEO-friendly, brand-aligned product descriptions.
- Manage product images and coordinate with design/photography teams.
- Regularly audit and update product data, pricing, and promotions.
Pricing, Merchandising & Inventory
- Update pricing, offers, discounts, and seasonal campaigns.
- Coordinate with warehouse/operations teams for stock mapping and availability.
- Suggest merchandising strategies (bundles, cross-selling, upselling).
- Monitor sales performance and recommend catalog improvements.
Compliance & Legal
- Ensure listings comply with Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2009.
- Ensure correct display of MRP, weight/dimensions, warranties, and return policies.
- Avoid content that infringes IPR or trademarks of other brands.
- Coordinate with legal/operations teams for disputes, complaints, or regulatory issues.
Competitor & Market Insights
- Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and product presentation.
- Suggest improvements to enhance product positioning and customer experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in e-commerce catalog management, brand listing; preferably in fashion categories.
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce CMS, category and attribute management, SKU maintenance, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic SEO for product listings.
- Strong understanding of IPR, consumer protection regulations, and e-commerce compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
